The Washington Nationals front office has overturned their rain-delay ticket policy, after much of the public was complaining and upset with the old policy.
The previous policy stated that fans would be given tickets to the re-scheduled game which they had bought the tickets to. However, many fans were not happy with that policy as the make-up games were often at times ticket holders could not attend. The game against the Detroit Tigers on Tuesday night was rained out, and the re-scheduled game was during the workday on Thursday.
The new policy allows fans to purchase a ticket of equal or lesser price to a future game of their choice, which is more convenient as fans are able to choose a game which works for them time wise.
